Work No. 8 – SLUDGE TREATMENT CENTRE

A sludge treatment centre comprising—

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 a + (a)sludge reception facilities for imported primary settled sludge and surplus activated sludge;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 b + (b)up to 2 imported and indigenous primary sludge tanks;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 c + (c)up to 3 unthickened sludge tanks;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 d + (d)screens;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 e + (e)up to 2 odour control units with vent stacks;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 f + (f)thickening building including a sludge blending tank;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 g + (g)up to two anaerobic sludge digesters;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 h + (h)up to 2 post digestion storage tanks and vacuum de-gassing units;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 i + (i)a heating, pasteurisation and hydrolysis process heating tank;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 j + (j)up to 2 heating, pasteurisation and hydrolysis process pasteurisation tanks;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 k + (k)a heating, pasteurisation and hydrolysis process hydrolysis tank;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 l + (l)up to 2 dewatering centrifuges/volutes;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 m + (m)cake storage barn and silo area;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 n iii + (iii)a hybrid liquor treatment plant and nutrient recovery plant;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 o + (o)biogas handling equipment including up to 2 gas holders and a flare stack;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 p + (p)boiler building and boiler stack;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 q + (q)final effluent heat recovery and treatment plant;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 r + (r)chemical storage and dosing plant;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 s + (s)aviation obstruction lighting; and

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper8 t + (t)connections to Work Nos. 4, 6, 9, 10, 11 and 13.
