INFRASTRUCTURE PLANNINGThis Order authorises Chrysaor Production (U.K.) Limited (referred to in this Order as the undertaker) to construct, operate and maintain a pipeline for the transport of carbon dioxide from Immingham to Theddlethorpe. This Order imposes requirements in connection with the development and permits the undertaker to acquire, compulsorily or by agreement, land and rights in land and to use land for this purpose.

TRADEThese Regulations amend the Schedule to the Ivory Prohibitions (Exemptions) (Process and Procedure) Regulations 2022 (S.I. 2022/94) to prescribe three additional institutions that the Secretary of State considers possess the necessary knowledge and expertise to provide him with advice on applications for exemption certificates under the Ivory Act 2018 (c. 30).
The Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (Commencement No. 9 and Saving Provisions) Regulations 2025

DOMESTIC ABUSE, ENGLAND AND WALESThese Regulations are the ninth commencement regulations made under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (c. 17) (“the Act”) that extend only to England and Wales. They bring into force Part 3 of the Act (which establishes a new domestic abuse protection notice and domestic abuse protection order), in so far as not already in force, on a piloted basis on 28th April 2025. Regulation 2 brings into force Part 3 of the Act, except section 55 (which repeals domestic violence protection notices and domestic violence protection orders), in the counties of the Isle of Anglesey, Gwynedd, Denbighshire and Flintshire and the county boroughs of Conwy and Wrexham (“the specified areas”) for the period beginning with 28th April 2025 and ending with 26th November 2025.
The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) (No. 4) Regulations 2025

ROAD TRAFFICThese Regulations amend regulation 35 of, and Schedule 5 to, the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1999 (S.I. 1999/2864) to specify the fee payable for the large vehicle off road manoeuvres test. They also make provision for the fee payable for such a test conducted by a large vehicle off road manoeuvres test examiner to be paid to and retained by the relevant large vehicle off road manoeuvres test provider.
The Police (Vetting) Regulations 2025

POLICE, ENGLAND AND WALESThese Regulations make provision for the vetting of police officers. They require every police officer to hold and maintain vetting clearance. They also establish a procedure for withdrawing vetting clearance where there is evidence that a police officer may no longer be suitable to hold it. The Regulations are connected to the Police (Performance) Regulations 2020 (S.I. 2020/3), which concern unsatisfactory performance or attendance or gross incompetence, and the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2020 (S.I. 2020/4), which concern internal conduct matters.
The Oil and Gas Authority (Carbon Storage) (Retention of Information and Samples) Regulations 2025

ENERGYThese Regulations set out the requirements for the retention of carbon storage information and carbon storage samples by holders of carbon storage licences granted by the Oil and Gas Authority (“licensees”). “Carbon storage information” and “carbon storage samples” are defined in section 107 of the Energy Act 2023 (c. 52) and cover information, and samples, acquired or created by, or on behalf of, licensees in carrying out activities under their carbon storage licences.
