SCHEDULE 1AUTHORISED DEVELOPMENT

Work No. 36 – WATERBEACH PIPELINE SOUTH

The provision of the Waterbeach pipeline south works as follows—

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 a + (a)up to two waste water pipelines laid between Work No. 33 and the boundary of the existing Cambridge waste water treatment works including crossings of the river Cam, the A14, Horningsea Road, Fen Road and the King’s Lynn railway line using horizontal directional drilling technique in accordance with the code of construction practice, but otherwise laid using either open cut tracking or horizontal directional drilling technique;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 b + (b)up to two waste water pipelines laid underground and above ground within the existing Cambridge waste water treatment works;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 c + (c)new accesses and access improvements;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 d + (d)temporary shafts;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 e + (e)horizontal directional drilling launch and exit pits;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 f + (f)welfare, storage and laydown areas;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 g + (g)temporary haul roads;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 h + (h)dewatering, drainage works and restoration of existing land drainage;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 i + (i)ditch crossing, diversion and associated protection works;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 j + (j)mud and soil handling;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 k + (k)associated infrastructure including air valves and other pipework fittings and fixtures;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 l + (l)permanent accesses for future maintenance and replacement of the pipelines;

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 m + (m)connections to Work Nos. 33 and 35 and at the existing Cambridge waste water treatment works; and

schedule 1 paragraph wrapper36 n + (n)decommissioning of all or part of this Work.
