Section 537(1) was substituted by paragraph 152 of Schedule 30 to the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (c. 31), and amended by S.I. 2010/1158 and paragraph 9 of Schedule 13 to the Education Act 2011 (c. 21). Section 537(4) was amended by paragraph 37 of Schedule 7 to the Education Act 1997 (c. 44). There are other amendments to section 537 that are not relevant to these Regulations.
