Amendments to regulation 44 (financial services and funds relating to gold, precious metals or diamonds)

regulation 14 + 14.  In regulation 44 (financial services and funds relating to gold, precious metals or diamonds)—

regulation 14 a + (a)in paragraphs (1) to (3) for “a Syrian regime person”, in each place it occurs, substitute “the Governing Authority of Syria”;

regulation 14 b + (b)omit paragraph (5);

regulation 14 c + (c)in paragraph (6)—

regulation 14 c i + (i)for “paragraph (3)” substitute “paragraph (1), (2) or (3)”; and

regulation 14 c ii + (ii)for “that paragraph” substitute “paragraph (1), (2) or (3) (as the case may be)”.
