PART 1REQUIREMENTS

Discovery centre

schedule 2 paragraph 23 + 23.—(1) Prior to the operation of the discovery centre in the gateway building, a scheme must be submitted to and approved by the relevant planning authority.

(2) The scheme submitted pursuant to paragraph (1) above must detail how the discovery centre will operate incorporating measures for—

schedule 2 paragraph 23 2 a + (a)attendance by appointment only;

schedule 2 paragraph 23 2 b + (b)an education programme;

schedule 2 paragraph 23 2 c + (c)scheduled opportunities for local schools and groups; and

schedule 2 paragraph 23 2 d + (d)management of visitor parking arrangements.

(3) The discovery centre must be operated in accordance with the approved scheme.
