SCHEDULE 2Information: foreign activity arrangements (section 65 of the Act)

PART 1General

schedule 2 paragraph 1 + 1.  A description of the nature and form of the agreement or arrangement between the specified person and P, under which P has been directed in the manner described in section 65(1) of the Act.

schedule 2 paragraph 2 + 2.  The date on which the direction falling within section 65(1) of the Act was given to P.

schedule 2 paragraph 3 + 3.  In relation to the relevant activities to be carried out or arranged under a direction falling within section 65(1) of the Act, a description of—

schedule 2 paragraph 3 a + (a)the relevant activities,

schedule 2 paragraph 3 b + (b)the purpose of the relevant activities, and

schedule 2 paragraph 3 c + (c)the outcome sought as a result of the relevant activities.

schedule 2 paragraph 4 + 4.  Where P has been directed as described in section 65(1) of the Act to arrange for relevant activities to be carried out—

schedule 2 paragraph 4 a + (a)where it is practicable to provide the names of any persons who will carry out the relevant activities—

schedule 2 paragraph 4 a i + (i)the name of each person,

schedule 2 paragraph 4 a ii + (ii)the role of each person in relation to the relevant activities,

schedule 2 paragraph 4 a iii + (iii)the relationship of each person to P, and

schedule 2 paragraph 4 a iv + (iv)the correspondence address, telephone number and email address of each person (where practicable);

schedule 2 paragraph 4 b + (b)where it is not practicable to provide the names under sub-paragraph (a), a description of the persons who will carry out the relevant activities, the roles of such persons in relation to the relevant activities and the relationship of such persons to P.

schedule 2 paragraph 5 + 5.  The date on which the relevant activities commenced or on which P anticipates that they will commence.

schedule 2 paragraph 6 + 6.  If the relevant activities are to continue over, or are to be repeated over, more than one day, a statement of this.

schedule 2 paragraph 7 + 7.  A statement, as the case may be—

schedule 2 paragraph 7 a + (a)of the date on which P anticipates that the relevant activities will end, or

schedule 2 paragraph 7 b + (b)that P anticipates that the relevant activities will continue indefinitely.

PART 2Additional information: political influence activities

schedule 2 paragraph 8 + 8.  Where the political influence activities fall within section 70(2)(a) of the Act (communications with certain public officials)—

schedule 2 paragraph 8 a + (a)either—

schedule 2 paragraph 8 a i + (i)the name and role of the person to whom the communication is to be or was made, or

schedule 2 paragraph 8 a ii + (ii)a description of the class of persons falling within each of paragraphs 1 to 27 of Schedule 14 to the Act to whom the communication is to be or was made and their roles,

schedule 2 paragraph 8 b + (b)the nature and (where known) form of the communication,

schedule 2 paragraph 8 c + (c)the purpose of the communication, and

schedule 2 paragraph 8 d + (d)the outcome sought as a result of the communication.

schedule 2 paragraph 9 + 9.  Where the political influence activities fall within section 70(2)(b) of the Act (public communications)—

schedule 2 paragraph 9 a + (a)the nature and (where known) form of the communication,

schedule 2 paragraph 9 b + (b)the intended audience of the communication (if known),

schedule 2 paragraph 9 c + (c)the purpose of the communication (if known), and

schedule 2 paragraph 9 d + (d)the outcome sought as a result of the communication (if known).

schedule 2 paragraph 10 + 10.  Where the political influence activities fall within section 70(2)(c) of the Act (distributing money, goods or services to UK persons)—

schedule 2 paragraph 10 a + (a)where applicable, the nature of the goods or services distributed or to be distributed,

schedule 2 paragraph 10 b + (b)the actual or estimated value of the money, goods or services distributed or to be distributed,

schedule 2 paragraph 10 c + (c)where a distribution has been or is to be made to an identifiable person—

schedule 2 paragraph 10 c i + (i)the name of that person,

schedule 2 paragraph 10 c ii + (ii)the role or capacity of the person to whom the distribution has been or is to be made (if known),

schedule 2 paragraph 10 d + (d)where a distribution has been or is to be made to a group of persons and it is not practicable to provide the information referred to in sub-paragraph (c), a description of the group of persons (including their role or capacity, if known),

schedule 2 paragraph 10 e + (e)the purpose of the distribution, and

schedule 2 paragraph 10 f + (f)the outcome sought as a result of the distribution.

schedule 2 paragraph 11 + 11.  Where P has been directed, as described in section 65(1) of the Act, to arrange for political influence activities to be carried out—

schedule 2 paragraph 11 a + (a)where it is practicable to provide the names of any persons who will carry out the political influence activities—

schedule 2 paragraph 11 a i + (i)the name of each such person,

schedule 2 paragraph 11 a ii + (ii)the role of each such person in relation to the political influence activities,

schedule 2 paragraph 11 a iii + (iii)the relationship of each such person to P, and

schedule 2 paragraph 11 a iv + (iv)the correspondence address, telephone number and email address of each such person (where practicable);

schedule 2 paragraph 11 b + (b)where it is not practicable to provide the names of the people who will carry out those activities, a description of the persons who will carry out the political influence activities, the roles of such persons in relation to the political influence activities and the relationship of such persons to P.
