Service of notices

regulation 33 + 33.—(1) Where a notice is to be given under these Regulations, it may be given by—

regulation 33 1 a + (a)electronic means,

regulation 33 1 b + (b)prepaid post in an envelope which is properly addressed, or

regulation 33 1 c + (c)personal delivery.

(2) Where a notice under these Regulations is given in accordance with paragraph (1), it is to be taken to have been given—

regulation 33 2 a + (a)if sent by electronic means, on the day of transmission;

regulation 33 2 b + (b)if sent by prepaid post, on the day in which it is posted;

regulation 33 2 c + (c)if delivered personally, on the day of delivery.
