Citation, commencement, interpretation and cessation

regulation 1 + 1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Universal Credit, Personal Independence Payment, Jobseeker’s Allowance and Employment and Support Allowance (Claims and Payments) (Amendment and Modification) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2025 and come into operation on 30th April 2025.

term the 2016 regulations + (2) In these Regulations “the 2016 Regulations” means the Universal Credit, Personal Independence Payment, Jobseeker’s Allowance and Employment and Support Allowance (Claims and Payments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016(1).

(3) Regulation 3 will cease to have effect on 30th April 2026 at midnight.
